Number one biggest reason for buying new wheels: The old ones are broken.
It can be for looks. An O/O who takes pride in his truck, or a company that rewards a driver with premium equipment. It's a style and status thing.
Another can be changing or upgrading equipment. There are devices with have tubes and weighted beads that stabilize/balance out vibration.. Others are the new "singles"..
Lotsa reasons.
I am somewhat stumped with this question, PLEASE HELP!

I've had a few wheels crack as they get old. The aluminum ones are still worth around $25-35 dollars for scrap. The metal ones are not worth much, but when I get enough metal scrap to justify possibly getting a flat at the scrapyard, I sell those for scrap too.
traktr Thanks this. -
There are MANY reasons! The reason I had mine replaced was simply because they were old and worn, starting to rust here and there, and I wanted to get ride of some of the weight. I inherited my truck as I'm a company driver, but hey, if I'm going to live in it, they it's going to be safe, comfortable, and if I can help it, it's going to look nice!
