You go with that, you stick to your belief that poor rural communities are safe, I will stay out of them and continue to not get robbed or face any violent action.

Ive been around a bunch of poor city areas as well as rural and i dont think id say young poor males in either location are advisable company

    No, they don't.

I disagree with this guy on some points and would quibble on many more, and I would prefer to link to other reports, but they're either direct downloads or behind a pay wall.
Most Dangerous Big Cities? Rural-Suburbs-Small Cities Can Have Higher Rates Of Violence | Crime in America.Net

"Police chiefs and crime analysis experts will show the National Crime Victimization Survey report (or commercial documents) to their mayors who simply can’t (or won’t) believe that their small city or suburb could have higher rates of crime than larger cities."
Even just relying on reported crimes, Joplin County, MO has 5.25 violent and 63.28 property crimes per 1,000 people while Chicago has 8.7 violent and 23.8 property crimes per 1,000 people. The more accurate correlation with crime is age and wealth, not rural/urban.

And what happens after the cheater has been verbally accosted but nothing changes?

We can go a couple three iterations down this line of thought, but at a certain point, when there is no hope of any sort of victory all that's left is to go out in a blaze.

I could have and should have included them in my list. That was my oversight. I should also have included corporations moving jobs overseas and pocketing the increased profits; the horizontal holdings which are minimizing both competition and consumer choice; and a host of other symptoms of the driving philosophy that collectivism is an idea of the primordial savage and altruism is a disease that weakens and limits an individual.

The victim mentality of blaming everyone and not accepting responsibility for one’s self is a major limiting factor of individuals.
