I applied to Averitt

For good advice, ask Nukem. He's the one that gave me the advice I needed. On a related note, my health department is now saying they don't have me on record for a birth certificate. Hopefully they get this figured out. I don't want my career with Averitt in jeopardy because they can't find my dang birth certificate so I can get my fingerprints.

 

Since I was a student, my time with my trainer OTR was 5 weeks. He is a great guy so it was actually fun.

 

Long first week out by myself. Spent most of it in Texas running around. They threw some interesting places at me this week. Took a petsmart load into the state capitol to a little strip mall. That was interesting. Didn't get home til 5pm saturday and leaving out 5am monday so at least i get a restart. Supposed to have next monday off for my sisters college graduation. She's the only one of us to have graduated so it's important to her that I be there. Also will have to talk to someone in person on Monday as they can't find my birth certificate at the Health Department.

 

I went there once with my trainer, we ended up having the load taken off of us though so I didn't get to see the delivery. It was a fun week, just tiring I'm considering this first couple weeks as them testing me to see how i perform. Looks like I'll be heading east to start with (Elyira, Oh) so hopefully he has an easier time trying to get me back for the weekend haha. This past week, to get me back, he had me take a load from houston and drop it on the yard at Birmingham. Then I got a load there and dropped it at the yard in Bowling Green( not the nicest looking yard but I've seen worse) then I grabbed one off that yard to take home to deliver Monday in Indy. Then it's back to the yard to get the Elyira load. Although there might be an issue with that as the trailer hasn't been at the yard that I've seen so far. Should I call?

 

Ok I'll do that. I just thought it was odd that it wasn't there already.
