I applied to Averitt

I just realised this is a holiday weekend as well. Might offer to go out monday if they have anything.

 

I'm hoping. I figure alot of places will either close early or not be open at all. Some of the places I did security for before I went trucking were closed both the day of the holiday and a day before.
Granted I don't know when the parts will get there for the truck >.> Haha I went to get my phone charger from the truck today and they had the passenger seat torn out to work on the transmission.

 

Well, I have never heard my fleet manager this ticked off. They've been trying to get a straight answer out of the place they took my truck to and they can't get one. He has it set up so if I i get my truck tomorrow I'm going home til Tuesday, which is when I switch to my permanent manager, jeff smith. If I don't get my truck he's setting up a ride for me to get me back to my yard.

 

I think they should find a new repair place myself. They've been working on my truck since Monday/Tuesday and have yet to figure it out.

 

That is probably what will end up happening lol. I'm just irritated I lost out on a whole weeks running Just called Mike and he said the place hasn't called him or Averitt still. Soooo looks like I'll be getting a ride from someone else to my yard tomorrow -.- Le sigh. I'm glad Averitt has gotten me this hotel and stayed up on what was going on. Last place I was at made me check out of the hotel everyday and sit in the repair place until they closed before they would let me get a room for the night. IMHO Averitt has far exceeded what I expected. And that makes me happy. Bad thing is I still have stuff in the truck so I'll have to get back up here either to pick it up or transfer everything.

 

Ouch, this is why I've been waiting to get my fridge for the truck. I want to make sure I'll be in the truck for awhile before I get one.
