Incidentally, Carquest parts stores carry those 50 amp Anderson connectors if you got yourself any high power radios or amps and you want a quick way to play switcheroo.

IMG_866.jpg Behold... a giant stack of radios!

And yes, I realize the Echo is on the Anytone. Reading the manual now to figure out how to turn that #### off.

Napa sells the Sb 175 amp and the big Sb 350 amp that are usually used on forklift applications. You can use 0/4 ought gauge cable on the Sb350. Oh your talking radios I'm talking linears. But yeah Anderson connecters are on all my radios...... That's the only way to fly....

Got it on Monday. Just now got it installed in my car and man does it ever sound good, even with the stock microphone. I set my GoPro and extra cellphone up in my truck, called myself and drove away in the car.

I muted the phone in my car with the headset on so I could hear if the radio was still transmitting at a distance. Ten miles out it was still strong as ever, even at 50% power.

After I got back, I listened to the footage on the GoPro to see what it sounded like in the truck. That is one good sounding radio. I'm going to record a bit of side band when I go to Dothan tomorrow and try to do a real long distance test.

So far, this will probably be my favorite radio.

If you like it with the stock microphone you'll like it with the factory electret microphone from a president radio or the cre 8900 microphone even better.

I had both of these radios in the past and the mic's look cheaply made to me, never like the feeling when i had them in hand.

If i had another President Lincoln i would use another mic instead of stock one.

They are very cheaply made but both sound phenomenal. Shoot me a pm if you want to sell some stock microphones.

Actually more in the market of buying....thinking of shure577b.

The low audio annoyed me a bit but the clarity is very nice.
