I only hope that automated trucks eventually come with AI. And that one day, trucker bots will argue amongst themselves about the ettiquettes of passing and being passed!

 

Haha I guess you are not that guy in a cool looking classic hauling flatbed I have met some 3 months ago on rural road in GA.

 

If it is true AI, it will.

Simply because true intelligence would not.
It is the artificial part, in both human and machine, that messes everything up.

 

What really really pisses me off is (and it happens way too often for my liking) when those slow a holes see you approaching at high speed in the left lane they suddenly decide to pass truck in front of them forcing you to brake hard!

 

That really irks me when you move over to let them merge. Then they won't let you back over, till they get up to speed and pass you on the right.

 

When nice people let me on the interstate by courteously moving over, I thank them by remaining there. It’s my lane now.

 

There's room for only one smartsass on these boards and that would be me LOL

 

i figured out that the brakes on the cars and trucks coming down the ramps work just as good as mine so i let them use theirs. oddly enough i don't have to deal with those that actually do

anymore.
