This is what I did with schneider way back when. They ignored the wrong home time request. I absolutely had to be home two weeks notice been out for a month.

They hit my dac with abandonment but had a checkin ticket with the shop for a pm so proved it was left at the terminal.

    CasanovaCruiser and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Don't you ever listen to Bon Jovi?
"Who says you can't go home? "

Call "drivers support" again and ask what happened to getting home???

Not sure the answer but sure would be easier for everyone to just let you get back to return the truck and cut ties.

There has got to be an answer but I am not used to dealing with the bottom feeder mentality of some of these companies.

As Santan pointed out also cover your ### if they try to claim abandonment. Get signed paperwork saying you turned the truck in and where, time and date.
Also just to cover everything as I'm not sure how literally you took my first post. Do NOT drive to the terminal while under a load. Deliver and empty out, and take off for the terminal. Don't accept or decline any loads they send you, make copies of messages they send you during this time so they cannot say you quit under dispatch, other than that completely ignore the Qualcomm except for your hours of service.
Get to the terminal. Put the truck in the shop and get paperwork saying its in the shop or have someone sign off that it's in the yard and then walk in the office and quit or just call a cab and leave. You're done. Nothing can hit your dac, worst thing that happens is they keep your last check.
