I hope the messages posted by myself and TankerP are not getting misunderstood. There is no conception of just running out and jumping in a truck and go on our part. If any of you drivers took it that way then my apologies. My point is I do not care what type of truck I drive or what type of radio there is (if needed). I safety check the truck first thing and continue throughout the trip. I check more items that are required because it saves me money and it's easier on the body. If I find something going bad I fix it. The truck is a tool to make a living. It's up to you to know how you want your life to end up.

Father Luke and TankerP Thank this.

    Thanks for everyone's feedback.
I ended up going with Company A.
They are flying me out on Sunday and will start orientation on Monday.

They offer a lot of other perks that Company B couldn't provide.
In the end, the money I make is the most important thing at the end of the day.
Equipment and luxuries will come over time.

If they can give me the miles to keep a steady and hearty paycheck coming in, they will have a dedicated and hard working employee.
