Can you leave Texas(as long as you make court appearances)? I mean youre not convicted.yet.And If yourr gonna be homeless anyway, several outfits will hire you more than likely. You can shower in truck stops, live in the sleeper basically.Kinda sounds like some "pending child support" in the distant future.Best scenario" you sweet talk her into dropping charges, admit she lied(so the prosecutor drops it)Hang around, get some good paychecks rolling in(then bail on her).Or stay together and be happy ever after.Or get a driving job to where you dont "miss" any court dates, get some good paychecks rolling in,Lawyer Up ,get custody and move on.Anyway Western Express Isnt a Bad Idea.Think they even hire certain felons? Your deal you say is a Misdomeanor(so that shouldnt be Too Tough.Gardner in Chino California hires MS13 gangbangers or so it appeared.JMO
I caught a pending class C misdemeaner assult charge (pending). who will hire me

Well I was trying to sweet talk her but idk. Shes on HUD and foodstamps and dosnt report my income. Basically fraud. I was trying to hold that over her head but shes just to stubborn. If I could get a job I can stay here and save up a few pay checks and bail on her ###. I can hire a lawyer for 240 dollars to appear at court for me bc its just a class c misdemeanor. so I can go anywhere.
My problem is getting a job. Ive been turned down by my old company prime. and another local company here where I live. And I was about to apply to a 3rd company but it says right on the front page, no pending criminal charges, so I didn't even waste my time applying.
Now I'm just trying to get some good feedback from preferably personal experiences of which company would be a good bet to hire on with.
thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm getting a glimmer f hope back that I might actually be able to find a job. -
Agree with @Chinatown . Work for a temp service. A great deal of companies won't care one bit if you have court next Wednesday. They have loads to move and money to make.
Maj. Jackhole and Chinatown Thank this. -
ok, let me google some temp services in my area. Should I tell them about my pending charge? or only if they ask type thing. that's my only concern bc I read if I lie about it, they can put that in my DAC report. thanks everyone.
I also called western express and Carolina trucking or something like that. -
I'd let a lawyer handle it and and not say anything to trucking companies about any pending charges or none of them will hire you. Most don't care if you have a criminal record, they just don't want pending court dates to interfere with their business, so they won't take a chance on that.

That's Carolina Cargo and also there's Carolina Logistics www.carolinalogistics.net
Carolina Cargo won't hire you if you tell them you have pending court in the future. They hire ex-cons, but won't hire you with pending court dates because they have coast to coast freight to move. -
IMO, until you hear a guilty verdict, it never happened. They don't ask if you've ever been arrested. They ask if you've ever been convicted.TripleSix Thanks this.

Here's another one you can try:
Balkan Express, llc.
2560 E Long Ave
Fort Worth TX 76137

ok, well like I said I just don't want to go all the way to north Carolina just to be let go in orientation once they run a background check. And my lawyer told me he can go to court for me and I don't even have to be there.

I hate to hit you while you are down, but you have been working a year and sharing a residence? Where is your money? You should have an emergency fund of a few thousand for problems just like this. You need a place and an attorney. Both require money up front.hrdman2luv and sevenmph Thank this.
