Yes I did a very good pretrip, everytime the lights would go off I would stop check Trk and trailer. It was no way I could have found out while on road what problem was shop say it was a sensor/gauge under the Trk that was going bad. I checked what I knew to check. I am not certified on brakes I check what any other driver check upon getting a new Trk.
I could not last 3 weeks

Sorry but I'm not talking about just the brakes, I am talking about everything you posted. No matter how you want to defend yourself with this, the pre-trips should be just the first thing you do in a long line of checks and decisions.
So here is the problem, you should not left the dealership in the first place. No power steering isn't an issue, but exhaust leak is a BIG issue, that is where you can do more than just hit a few cars. Then you have the leaking oil, that's also a big problem because that does effect the brakes and yes that would be a predictable result - oil on the brakes, brakes become ineffective.Cetane+ Thanks this. -
No power steering can be problematic if you get a truck with a smallish steering wheel. Really gives you an upper body workout maneuvering.

The way the law reads, truck or load on the truck, as soon as you leave whatever property you picked the truck or load up,it's your baby. You are 100% responsible.
I say this: If you, according to the law are 100% responsible, you are the captain of the ship. The captain goes down with the ship, not the owner of the ship.
"What if they fire me?"
What if you quit?
How in the heck does a company driver draw a negative paycheck? I thought only lease operators could do that. -
easy I did a 1953mi run taking day cabs and bringing day cabs. The operations manager forgot the week if Christmas to submit our paperwork. He called us and told us he put our money on card. So in return he didn't submit paper work again for this week pay. So company took back money that I earned because of no paperwork. I don't no what he did but I no what he didn't do Caz he was lazy. we didn't have pro numbers to submit paperwork ourselves. It had to be done by them. This is how I got neg pay check -
Too many no's.
Was the money on the card? If they give you money and take the money back, the balance should be ZERO on your phantom paycheck. Its odd how one person can "forget" to submit paperwork, yet payroll can still process you a paystub. Sounds like the old 'robbing Peter to pay Paul' scenario if this happened to multiple drivers. -
Not only that but different gearing in the box. I'd rather have a truck with no power steering as a matter of OEM, than one that has it and it doesn't work.truckon Thanks this.
