To bad the recruiters and DMS dont tell the truth to newbies at the start about how long they will be away from home and what its really going to be like, but they all lie just to get you in the door, then they complain when you leave that they have invested so much in you to train you and all and now you up and leave, to freagin bad i say, if you lie to me and dont tell me like it really is,, see ya later, dont call me ill call you anyway thats my thought whether its right or wrong.

It's like a drug. Once they get the idea they will make "big" bucks. It's simple to reel them in, regardless of how bad someone makes it sound.

With the current economy. I bet they could lead the newscast on all the major networks with, "Truckers dieing by the thousands, due to poor work conditions". And there would be a line standing outside 3 hours later, applying for the job.
