Everyone has different opinions about different companies, some are good, some are bad. some drivers legitimately screw up and post a bad rap on the company cause they couldnt hang with being called on their crap. Sometimes, drivers are legitimately screwed over. just to lots of research, ask lots of questions, talk to lots of drivers, and try your best to make an informed decision, but try to never base a choice on ONE drivers opinion! cause they are all over the board
Thanks for the info, I decided to go with US Xpress. Although now Im unsure. I being female do not want a male trainer since hearing a couple of my classmates with horror stories of sexual advances toward them. Some may be true, But how would you really know if true or lies??? I am suppose to leave the end of this month for my training with US Xpress.
I'm so glad I knew someone who owned a small company that was able to hire a newbie. One company I was driving a straight truck for required 3 years and a clean sheet to be hired for Class A. I got really lucky. Been driving a month for a three-truck company and making .32 a mile. No school repayments, no indentured servitude, and decent home time. Sucks that people have to drive for companies like Swift, et al.
