The owner of the company sat down with me today when I clocked out and had me full out paper work. She explained to me that the routes are non negotiable. If we are over 10 yds. we stay on access/ frontage roads. Every load is mapped and printed out by dispatch. If we have to get on public/ freeways we have permits for X miles to the nearest access road. We can and sometimes haul (with tractor weight) over 100k.
I didn't go with Stevens.

Here in NM the poverty line is $23,834 as an example. Don't know where you're at so I can't give you a number...but many states are similar. -
