Loads are being booked at $1.25 that they are getting $4 or $5.

brokers are making 2, 3 even 4 times as much money on each and every load

 

I guess sarcasm is lost on some.

Now I know I am missing a couple things - leather chair and fuzzy slippers.

I've called friends in manufacturing businesses in the northwest and got connected with their shipping managers. They were getting rates $1.00 to $1.25 a mile from mega carriers who told them for every 3 loads going into the area, they were lucky to fill 1 truck coming out hence the rates. I told my friends to stay with their mega carrier. It's not just the brokers who offer low rates, carriers do it to.

 

So, let's add it all up. Bill is sitting at home, in a comfy leather chair, with nothing on but a smile and fuzzy slippers, smoking Cuban cigars, watching youtube videos on his latest smart phone, while the big money just rolls in. Wow, what a life! I'm going to have to go back in the resturant and learn from fellow drivers, at the counter of knowlege, how I too can do that. Maybe there is a site, on the internet, on how it is done, afterall, they can't put anything on the internet that isn't true! I should be able to accomplish that goal by Monday.
