Definately going to have to wait awhile before getting behind the wheel of a big truck, and then definately a refresher...All I can say is WOW, that's alot of "incidents" in a years period.

Now that I have the head shaking out of the way...

Try getting a job driving a straight truck, possibly dump truck for a local quarry..or get on with a uniform company (there's all kinds of driving jobs out there, you don't have to be OTR)..You're going to have to prove yourself all over again, and the only way to do that is to find "something" that keeps you behind the wheel.

He said he was smart,he didn`t say he could drive.ALOT of people driving trucks today couldn`t have bought a driving job 20 years ago.IMHO-sadly there are another 500,000 with his mindset, still on the road today.

And you, CP, are the typical "look-at-my-degrees-'cuz-it-makes-me-better-than-you" arrogant malcontent.

Education has nothing to do whatsoever with common sense or even intellegence. So when you're out driving your personal vehicle one day and make a bone-headed move in front of an 18-wheeler driven by one of the lowly "bubbas", thank your God that he or she has the skills to keep from running over your sorry butt.

    Good day.

Everybody can criticize you all they want, but

    facts are facts.

Your MVR will matter more than your DAC, at some companies.

You just have to find the right company.........

It's always been my understanding "accident" is vehicle to vehicle. "Incident" is vehicle to stationary object.

careful about bashing me, think about it. Ever drift of to sleep behind the wheel? Ever have a close call? Ever hit something that nobody saw and took off? Careful who you judge...

I would be lying if I said I was happy finding myself behind the steering wheel of a truck. I didn't exactly feel like I was "living the dream."
