Been in Bakersfield flying j many times and never saw any gangs there heck it's out in the middle of nowhere. 10 mi north of bakersfield. And most not all drivers would put a stop to something going on like that. Something rotten in Denmark and it ain't the lutefisk.

I do not buy this story. For 1 thing Flying J's Property is being video taped 24/7. To prove this one way or the other the Sherrif would view the tape. SoCal takes gang violance very seriously.

California most definitely does have state police.This would be a Kern County Sheriff issue they have a no tolerance policy on gang violence. They are not going to just hangout unless he did something to provoke the situation, because as I earlier stated all there action would be recorded.

I live here in Kern and have for 50+ years, this is just unheard of.

1. it is not a biker gang. And it may not be a gang at all, just a lot of young men in vehicles waiting for him and taunting/threatening him.. Early this morning (2am) they were in trucks as well and there were a lot more of them.
2. he is pulling a trailer with his tools in it...i don't have to tell you what they are worth. He sold a compressor (to raise cash for a part to fix his truck) to someone out of the trailer and i suspect the word is now out that he has tools and is unable to move very far or quickly.
3. I called CHP which directed me to the sheriffs because it is out of CHPs jurisdiction. There are no State Police in CA as 900,000 suggested i call, i believe they became CHP. This is the 3rd time one of us has called the sheriff. They now have the information on the car and SUV (including license numbers) that the men are in. I believe the sheriffs are there now. His brother is a little over two hours out from Mike now so it will be daylight when they transfer the trailer to the truck we rented. We are praying they don't try to follow them back Sacramento on the way back as the trip is 4 hours driving 70mph, but will be a lot longer towing the trailer as they cannot go over 55mph with a trailer here in CA.

I'm calling ########. The CHP (State police in California) have jurisdiction everywhere in the state.....hence why they are State Police!

i called them already as i stated before and they sent me to the sheriffs office. so now THEY are lying as well about their jurisdiction?.... google ca state police..they USED to exist, now they are CHP which i stated i thought was the case earlier....

This sounds like a bunvh of crap..what gang is going to hang around for hrs and hrs..no one..for what tools..in todays world.if there was a gang there..it would be quik..1,2,3..thats it..and this is a fact..so i wouldent waist my tym replying to this bs..

I agree something is fishy here. I think he borrowed money from them and now they want to be repaid maybe?
