I failed at Lease Purchase.

It's hard for me to believe Schneider terminated his IC over this 1 event.

The tow out probably was under his deductible. Company drivers do dumb sheat like this all the time and they're not fired after 1 incident.

There's more to this story.

 

So let me get this straight..... this guy is an independent contractor making payments on a truck leased to Schneider. He pulls a bonehead move (we've all don't stuff) and has to get tugged out of a ditch, and they terminate his lease?

What am I missing here? How can a company terminate a lease for something that has nothing to do with the lease?

For instance, I'm an owner/operator leased to a company right now. I could run off the road and have to get pulled out and I promise you they could care less. Just get the load there.

Doesn't make sense to me, but I've never driven for any big company or been leased to one. I need to understand this.

No damage,nobody hurt, pay the tow and keep trucking.

Being the nice guy and reporting everything to mega's
Gets you fired. He brought all this on himself.

 

I don't think he is telling half of the story.

Schneider fire you for spending your own money. Posting ethical and unethical videos on YouTube was the cause...

 

If he owes 14000 in taxes , he had to have made about 70000 after his expenses.

 

This is the type of guy that takes 3 hours to decide what underwear to change into. SMH
