I failed at Lease Purchase.

It's either a scam or the guy is just a idiot. I have been at this for a while and everyone's tax situation is different but the bottom line is if you owe 14 grand in taxes while in a lease purchase either you have no idea how to deduct or your really successful. If you are that successful and owe that much it seems to me you would get back on the horse, continue to be successful and pay your taxes. My guess is he wasn't very successful, has zero understanding of taxes and is more worried about YouTube productions than being productive and actually truly understanding what his real problem is. Sweet drone though. Perhaps he should have wrote that off on his taxes instead of crying on the web for the whole world to see. Duh....

 

You were a little more direct than me, however, that was my point precisely about all the fancy drone and video production stuff.

 

Lol. You pointed out the drone to me. Somehow I don't think your allowed to buy all the coolest toys then whine for the world to see about taxes. I have never claimed myself to be the brightest bulb......but good lord. It's one thing to inform potential owners of the pitfalls but it's another when you spew stupidity.

 

The man took his family on a cruise for a week awhile back also so those things aren't cheap,I believe in spending money for good quality time with family but among all the tax issues he had that would've been 8 or 10 k to apply to his tax bill.

 

going on cruise is not hard. You usually book 1-2 years and make weekly payments around $20 week. Very issue to do n pull off. And it's a cheaper vacation then say going to Disney or Myrtle Beach for a week.

 

And you can always blame rough seas on the difficulty walking straight.

 

I do that whether I'm on a boat or not.
