Theoretically that does make scense, I just don't know if there is enough real world difference for me to care lol. But you guys answered my question....I asked, if in neutral why do you need the clutch...you guys answered that.
I feel so stupid

I don't think its this particular thread that have people in a tizzy over richter, it is his entire body of work, he generally posts on a huge variety of subjects with a very definite opinion . he has apparently learned everything there is to know after two years in the biz. that is quite impressive, as not many have that dedication to know everything in two years.
I may be wrong on that -
I'm guessing your sarcastically mocking me and not "quite impressed". That being said, I have learned as much as i could in 2 years and only comment on things i know something about. You dont see the areas i know nothing about because i dont answer those threads.
-
no, you have it completely wrong. I am not sarcastically mocking you at all. I simply told the gentlemen why some seem to be giving you a hard time . it would seem some think you know it all after two years in the business. and that's why they give you a hard time.
my biggest wonder is why with all the 100 per cent o/o companies in the business you would lease where there are far more company trucks than lease ops(tmc) , just never seen that work well. is it because you are familiar with tmc ? -
Was leased to LS, (all o/o). made a ton of money, life was good. i got a speeding ticket for 5 over and got canned. (opps) No one would hire me fresh off a speeding ticket so i went to Arnold the bottom feeder. They suck. They didn't keep my truck moving. i was lucky to get 2200 miles a week and their per mile rate wasnt great. I worked for TMC as a company driver for a year and a half b4 i bought my truck and they always treated me right. I had a great FM who i can work with as an O/o and their rates are pretty decent. (78% with their trailer and equipment + very decent fsc on freight that is decently priced) Yea TMC has a lot fo company drivers, but i have never heard one of thier o/o complain. All of them ive talked to seem happy. At the very least I know TMC will respect me, and my FM likes me. they also have decent freight int he winter...they don't crawl to a stop. So, back to TMC for now. If i like it ill stay. If not ill do at least another year so my ticket isn't so recent. None of the only O/o companies will hire me with my current driving record.

Well then thankyou....with those other guys on here i can never tell who is sarcastic and who isnt.
