You ran several states; that's regional, not local.Bfr38 Thanks this.

Def, especially with trucks as slow as Prime, TMC, etc... lol. I was in a 64 mph truck for almost two years. It was awful!! I couldn’t even pass Prime when they bumped them up. TMC, and yellow was the only ones I could pass lol

You’re right, but they considered me local since I was home everyday. I got to Corbin, Ky just three days a week now. I get paid 36-40 hours a week, pd hourly.

I would love to drive to Alaska just one time! Lol. Any dry van companies you know of go there? Also, if I go OTR I’m hoping to make atleast 11-1200 after taxes. I’m bringing home 900 a week now after taxes, plus the old lady won’t be working so I will be taking a big pay cut with her not working. Thanks again everyone!!

Meiborg Inc out of Rockford IL does some runs to Alaska now. Predominantly dry van, trucks run 69 pedal 71 cruise I believe. Riders over 18yo year round, shouldn’t have a problem getting hired out of Ohio. I think they’re paying salary now, 1450 a week I believe? Nice black KW T680s. I worked for them some years ago when they were a lot smaller. They treated me well, only gripe I ever had was the maintenance but they had a mixed bag of higher mileage equipment then. Seems to be much better now. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back
