The bathroom is also in a different container, and I believe I would get half a container, with a wall, separate entrances, basically just room for a bed and that's about it

 

Toilet? That's not included

Demand a second bucket for water.

 

Honestly, if you have proper indoor showers and bathrooms that are private, AC/heating, a kitchen and fridge of some sort and electricity for your electronics, this actually doesn't seem that bad compared to at first glance.

This living situation actually sounds better than OTR living out of the truck, assuming his container has all the normal household amenities that I just mentioned.

 

There's a full kitchen with free food and drinks in it. Free laundry room and showers. Real toilet. It's not OTR life. It's a free room in a shipping container with basic amenities plus a bit more.

 

It's just the AC and heating that you're unsure of, right?

 

Mostly, I haven't been inside one yet but I asked about it from the mechanic who did my test drive

 

Thousands of containers in the USA have been converted to living spaces/homes.

 

Great way to bank some money.
