No they did not. They cut starting pay $.07 per mile. All of the activity pay is altered but works out the same as any driver.

Yep, my previous job was about 1,000 truck. So not small, but not a mega either. They were always harping about CSA points and how they were not getting some contracts as it was too high. Sad thing they harped about most was 3rd lane violations and seat belt violations. Two of the easiest tickets to not get....

They have let drivers go for getting bad inspections. Firing them does not change the companies rating(score) hiring someone with bad inspections on their PSP does not effect their rating. Only inspections done on their DOT number are used to figure their rating.

1EB5CD32-04E7-442D-8834-B9D2B75754FF.jpeg You can receive CSA points from the violation, but only if the trooper performs a roadside inspection after stopping you and fills out a inspection report. Your violation was pretty minor though, and sounds like you were not inspected.

@Moneyhungrytrucker , you might want to read up on GA's nolo contendere plea law. I got a ticket in GA for speeding, and it never went on my record. The cop who issued the ticket told me about the nolo contendere law, eventhough I live in AL

I just don’t get why you wouldn’t let your company know to cover your Butt. I got a 22mph over going driving my POV to work. I told my boss. My boss started telling me about his 25mph+ ticket then said slow down. Lol. They reduced it to a weaving in lane was still a bad ticket but not as bad as a 22mph over ticket. That ticket hurt but it’s off my record kept my record clean for 3 years.

This only works if the Judge accepts the plea. It also still is considered a conviction. A plea of nolo helps you in case of a later civil action. If this conviction did not get on your record most likely is was something else that caused it.

I figured I might hear 50 different answers if I should tell the company now or not. Now I am really confused what to do.... lol :)
