Does this hold the same even if you don't have anything else to put with it? Or You book a LTL of 2 pallets and end up not finding anything else is this $1.00 for first and 25 cents for each pallet after the first still apply? I don't know just seems a little on the cheap side of pricing to me but I am not in the LTL business either.

    That's from each pick up.

Do that with 2-6 picks, I have come from salt lake back to Detroit for over $3/ mile. And I did that with a 600 mile bounce from Rapid City SD back to MN to get my king pins fixed and new steer tires put on.

Rule # 1 to running your own truck- that truck does NOT move ANYBODY'S freight without a signed rate confirmation in place... None of this "man they better pay me" stuff... If you don't have anything in writing, they are NOT obligated to pay you a penny for the return trip.

Nor do you have to deliver their product back to them. You were paid to move the product from point A to point B which they chose. You did your part so now they either pay for you to move it all the way back to them(signed rate confirmation) or you tell them to make other arrangements as You need this off your truck asap.

If you did not receive a rate confirmation on paper you may be doing a free-bee. If you open a box of the goods it may be Pandora's box you open.

Excuse me I suppose I was being a little sarcastic...

Personally, I'd wonder if it was a set-up of some sort and do what I could to set it right.. if the shipper doesn't want it, get it writing
