Non Factual, who do you know that went to Canada just to drive? Jolsen your a real character. You sure you age is correct. You are def a different breed.
-
so because the government posts a limit that makes it safe?...you being new to driving your probably not comfortable driving much over the speed limit but thats natural we all have been uncomfortable when we first started driving...for me it was at about 13 yrs old....and i can honestly say 80 on a interstate doesnt bother me one bit....and i still get my doors sucked off by other trucks -
I for one have gone to Canada just to drive. As do many tourist each year. I was breed to be a trucker. I'm an acehole that speaks the truth very bluntly and don't pull any punches. Now you need to realize those tickets you probably won't find a driving job. No not even for Domino's. And if your going to be on the road please start to pay attention before you get yourself or someone else killed.

i wish some of these students and 0-1 yr truckers that seem to be the authority and driving safely and not speeding would come give me a driving lesson so that i could be a more safe driver hahahahaha...............happy trails

My Grandfather use to drive for Don and Mavis in Detroit. My dad use to drive flat beds in Detroit. I start school on OCT 4th, We will see. I will do my best to have it removed. I will post up when I have better results. I am now watching my speedometer every 5 seconds now.
Injun Thanks this. -
Before you spend the cash on school you might want to make sure you get those removed and or get some prehires. you don't want to spend money for school and have no job.

You seemed to be hung up on the idea that a million miler can claim to be a SAFE driver just because he doesn't have any accidents. I submit that you can easily drive a million miles without an accident, that doesn't mean that you are necessarily a SAFE driver, it just means that you didn't have an accident.
Answer me this, what is the Basic Speed Law, which most of the 50 United States have on their books? And can you get a ticket for speeding, even if you are driving under the speed limit? Ask DieselBear on this forum if you don't know the answer.
Now Mister Super Trucker, please explain to this "Rookie" what you don't understand about my post and I'll try to explain it to you or not. Sometimes it is just better to walk away from a pissing match, because even the winner, will be wet in the end.Last edited: Aug 30, 2010

mt granddaddy always told me--its better to not say something and look stupid, rather than opening your mouth and removing all doubt---
my guess is platinum didnt talk to his grandaddy muchCivilWerks and thelastamericanhippy Thank this. -
and as for the item of people moving to canada for driving
it would probabely in the thousands--most companies in the west have an overseas recruitment program--for years they have been hiring drivers from the eu -- and more recentely from philipines and other areas--
most of canada has a booming economy and is very short of drivers--and good sir most of these drivers start out at a wage that you can only hope to possibely get-
so before you start throwing a few stones --maybe do a bit of research first
