look STUDENT, put some miles under your belt before you tell me about driving....i would bet iv put in more miles in reverse than you have in forward gears PERIOD.....And yes iv put in many many miles at a high rate of fuel consumption if you know what i mean.....put 40-50k of your money on the line and then come back and talk to me.....i posted that info to help platinum, not to be bashed from you....maybe you will never speed in your career and if not more power to you....but as so far as im concerned your rant means notta to me....you come on here with just a few posts bashing me for speeding just to say your on the bandwagon with the others bashing on this thread....i think if everyone is perfectly honest they would tell you they too are not honestly perfect.....happy trails

just because you have more miles/years then me don't mean you did them correctly. i could go out and build a house but it sure isn't gonna be done right.
For the record im not a student anymore i am past that point just havent changed my status. i love how people get all hung up on titles so i might keep it there.
I wasn't attacking anyone here. im expressing my opinion about speeding. i have never seen a reason to speed nor will i condone it for others. if your speeding i hope you lose your license and flip burgers at mcdonalds. Thats my opinion.
Speeding was cool when i was a teenager trying to show off. once i hit the age of ohhh 17 it wasn't fun anymore so i stopped doing it. Im now the guy that grabs plate numbers and calls the police and turns in speeders cause they pose a threat to themselves and everyone around them on the road. My family is on the road and i care more about them then i care if you get to your shipper 15 minutes earlier then you would of by not speeding. -
as did i maybe ten min total......so in those ten min i could have traveled roughly 10 miles at the posted limit....now i will guarentee u i saved many more miles than i lost....and for the record i could care less what this student thinks of me....lik i said i dont condone it but yes i will drive ten over anytime i need to make up time....im no saint and i suspect matt isnt either....but it is what it is.....i guess i just dont take a liking to kicking a man while he is down when he justed asked for advice.....good luck platinum and happy trails -
oh and good luck getting my plates hoss.....ILL JUST BE A BLUR...#### now im just making this easy for you.....hahaha. -
tell you what matt ill give you a little rope here.....what speed could i run on lets say i-10 headed west with little traffic to deal with and still be safe in your eyes?

He has never F'd up and hit something or anyone - pretty simple.
I'm very close to a million safe miles even though I had two tickets in the same spot a week apart. Does that eliminate the fact I've run all my miles accident free?? Don't think so..
I've never been in any type of accident and neither has he - safe miles are based on accidents and not tickets.
I work with 2 million mile safe drivers here that have had 10 tickets for speeding in Ohio - are they not safe drivers? I'm pretty sure they are as is Powder joints with 27 years of accident free driving in Cali.
He's 100% right.. Once you have a million or so under the belt feel free to correct but till then just sit back and observe as I still do with experienced drivers like him even though I'm now bumping a million..NDBADLANDS Thanks this. -
First, I'm not gonna rip on ya for speeding as I do it all the time in my personal car. But come on man. You can't go 60 in a 45 and not at least feel like you're speeding. I can drive almost anywhere, not see a speed limit sign and can still guess what the limit is. You should of felt it just based on the surroundings bro.
Second, either you have horrible luck, or you're driving a target. What are you driving? If its a ricer, get rid of it dude, get a sleeper(average joe looking car), that itself saves you tons of problems with law enforcement. I was stationed at NAS Pensicola and NAS Jax. I know the average military guy drives a ricer down there. Cops luuuuuv them, especially military drivers. I was one of those punks 6 years ago. Which is why I'm not suprised it took only 4 minutes to hand you teh ticket.
Third, yeah I'm gonna join the party that's saying you are screwed. I'm not saying you won't get a job driving. But I will say there are many people(with clean records) still waiting in line wanting a driving job. I wouldn't bother bro. At least not for a couple years. At least then you tell the employer you grew out of it.Last edited: Aug 30, 2010

I have ran from Detroit to Nashville or Atlanta to Tampa in my 4 wheeler and had big trucks beat me for the record and I carry my CB when I travel long distance and they beat me, only time i caught up was when they ran across the scales. I use to have a Green Eagle Talon with Michigan plates and my handle was Screaming Eagle. In the late 90's of course

Its a 2010 Toyota Corolla S. 30 mpg is why i have it. My car racing days have been over for 2 cars past. this car is built to last, I set the cruise when on the highway. I think i am going to see if my GPS will be audible if I go over the speed limit, any extra measure will help. BTW, I am 35, I had a sportbike for speed. I don't intend or purposely drive fast in this car on purpose. Blame it on the gas pedal recall or whatever.
