I got fired and have a question

Any world where 3 miles is a "serious violation" is a world where zero respect for laws should be the default attitude.

 

Best way is to say it was a mistake you made and was a great learning experience for something you will never do again. Nothing hits home harder than losing your job over a mistake.

 

Goes to show right there we don't have a "driver shortage" the mega's are always rambling about

 

If they start paying the correct pay to live in a truck on the road for all the risks we take and the work we do then the shortage will stop very fast.

I do that all the time. I crept to my delivery yesterday. I don't think they get upset about the creeping. I think because the op logged out and used personal conveyance. The op should have either crept to the truck stop or stopped earlier. When I first started on elogs some years ago, I got in trouble with my company for logging out. The put me on probation

 

I second all the drivers' advice about being upfront and I approve of this message.

I personal conveyance all night long at the dairies . I questioned the legalities of it to Safety. They said no problem.
