that probably explains why you keep falling over...
FloTheWaitress, truckon, Mr Ed and 1 other person Thank this. -
Congrats, that's great.
I agree 100%, this is a great attitude others need to get.
A good warning to others who have expectations of being some sort of easy job.
That wasn't negative, that was the truth, This may be the best you ever had but for many of us, it hasn't been because of others. You can make good money but for many, they don't make much and have bad attitudes about it, just look at how many trash their companies over trivial stuff.
Again, krazyhorsechick, congrats.krazyhorsechick Thanks this. -
welcome to the front lines of government take over. LMAO congrats on passing now get out here and start trucking it up. Don't just become some wheel holder sitting behind the wheel. Learn what it is to be a trucker. I tell everyone even my wife. this is not a job its a life style. You either live it and love it or hate it and quite. Starting out will be hard but stay with your first company for atleast a year and stay away from any lease offers. after a year try looking for something better away from the training companies. than after a few years I recommend 3 to 5 years enless you where around it before, if you want to become an O/o make the move. But again that is a whole other world in its own. course it is one that if the megas and the government have their way will be gone
Again congrats and welcome to the jungle.krazyhorsechick Thanks this. -
Give him 6 months and we shall see if he thinks the same way lol. Hope he does I don't think he will though.
Krazyhorsechick congrats on the CDL good luck at in finding a company to train you. If you decide to go with may I wish you the best. Be safe and good luck. Don't let the men give you a hard time either.CenutryClass and krazyhorsechick Thank this. -

krazyhorsechick Thanks this. -
Haha, so you give me six months. . . that's no way to talk in front of a brand new CDL holder. Congrats again Krazy Horse.
379 - who are you to say how long I will last out here?? Werent you a beginner at one time? Maybe you should get off y our high horse and take a look at your self. You are probly one of those fat ##### truckers that has dog feces littered all over the cab of your truck. or worse???? -
Wooo Hooooo!!!
Congratulations
You rock it girl! -
When I first started driving I heard the same thing - lots of complaining about the same stuff you hear here - the DOT, various companies, the government, the President - yada, yada, yada. Back then it on the CB and at the coffee counters. Endlessly, the same old crap.
Twenty-two years of driving has given me a rather good life. Company driver, o/o leased, and o/o with my own authority. I have few complaints. Congrats to the OP. It will be what you make. Ignore the whiners. They've made it the way it is for them. You can choose another path. -
Congratulations khc!!!
Fernley huh(?)....you probably won't be afraid of the snow or chaining...good thing!
Whichever company you choose....make sure your trainer gives you some lessons/pointers on throwing iron. Check this out for future reference;
