I Got Passed by a Prime

Prime also has OO's, they may look like a company truck but they are not. I passed one the other day, he was going about 65 when I started passing, I had to push it up to 80 to get by him.

Since starting this thread I've passed a few doing their normal 62mph as well. Maybe it was one of those Prime outlaw trucks that passed me.

 

If the OP got passed by a Raider Express truck, then he should be worried

At least I haven't been passed by them yet, so that's one less badge of shame for me.

 

Nope i had one pass my pete yesterday too. I was cruseing at 73 at the time too and he blew the doors off GPS and ELD confirmed 73 too. Startled me pretty badly TBH because i thought i had somehow let my self drift down to 50 or below.

 

US Express trucks have been getting close to 70mph recently too.

Not true. We typically cruise in the low 60's as well. Mostly if we pass someone, they are getting fuel, on break, or are broke down.

 

To me clear, it didn't bother me having Prime pass me. I don't care whether you're running 55 or 85, although I do get a little testy being stuck behind Raider Express on US 287 in Colorado.

 

I have seen more O/O's pulling Swift trailers lately. They must be offering more Power Only freight right now. There is a ####load of freight out here right now!
