see, I'm just not governed. So I don't have this problem. Well ok one company truck is governed to 78, but at least I can run with traffic. No one should be governed below 70 like that. If I'm not mistaken, some states have speed limits greater than 70 and of course everyone does like 10 over. Here in NC I can run that governed truck pedal to the floor and 4 wheelers blow my doors off its insane. Been a long time since I have drove a truck so heavily governed to 65 like that, you will never see me in another truck like that again. 78 to 75 is acceptable around here and understandable but 62? my word. The way 4 wheelers zip around some one can get killed running into the back of you even if youre not stopped or slowing down and have the pedal to the floor. Being governed that low is not safe. If people are speeding almost 10 over, that's a speed differential of almost 20mph and that's all it takes with one little mishap. That only gets worse if the 4's are doing 15 over or more. Be safe out there drivers.

Maybe that's a case of folks needing to slow down, 10 over is still speeding.......theres no real reason to be doing 85 either any better than doing 62.....both cause problems....

I dont typically run against the govener even with it at 78, i try to keep it with in 5 or so of posted speed limit. all im saying is, when you have trucks governed at 62, it makes the speed differential bigger which makes pitential for accidents worse. The 4 wheelers need to stop being in such an overly dramatic rush.

Back in late 80’s and thru the nineties I40, I44 and other interstates were wrecking yards for prime. They use to run 80+ mph everywhere back in the day. They use to run off in the ditch almost as bad as swift

The Will Rogers TPK in OK has minimum speed of 60. Do companies like Raider Express allow their drivers to get wild and taste some freedom by blowing over 57mph?
