Hit or miss with trucking schools: I should have been clearer, sorry: I was posting for my husband: He drove Class B for years and lost his job a few years ago when the economy tanked, so he is pretty aware of most of the bad trucking companies. It was the school thing. We both know the horror stories about people losing a job and then having to pay back thousands. He's been having a horrible time finding another class B job, and now seems willing to finally get his Class A. The problem with a regular school is that he is tied to a low pay temp. job and there is just now way that he could attend right now, so that is why he's been looking for company sponsorship. Trying to find a good company is like pulling teeth. He doesnt expect $4000.00 a month, but just about anything beats what these temp agencies pay. Might as well flip burgers somewhere close by instead of working temp on the other side of town. Seems he puts 1/2 his money in the tank. Better than the alterternative of no job at all though.

I started at sage and have been very satisfied so far with everything they have said and done. Call and talk to them, no pressure they want you to come there only if you are sure this is what you want. There also is financial aid availble.
