Feces happens...even to the best.
As long as you walked away in one piece, you still won that round.
You might get the ins co to pay more if you can provide the receipts for the motor & show it was in better than average shape.
I had a bad day!

I had that happen to me a long time ago. There were fairly new shoulders and an all night rain,I was easing onto the shoulder to help a uncle of mine. He was broke down and pulled into an old road, which was solid. I was empty and started easing over and that was all she wrote. The right front steer went down instantly and I was along for the ride. 2 wreckers and a hundred bucks later I was back on the road. That was the good ol days.Im glad you weren't hurt Brick.

Man that will ruin your day. Bet your pucker factor was off the charts. Good thing you didn't have a load of new lexus or Mercedes on there. At least your ok that's all that really matters. Well it's done and there is always tomorrow. Good luck!

Couple of big ifs.
IF the ins totals it out....
IF One Stop buys it back....
and IF they decide to part it out.
I'll let you know.
I still have a job here. We are looking at this truck for $36,000. The wife likes it cuz it has the big sleeper.... OK I like it too.
More pics...

Awww Brickman I feel for you
!!! I'm so glad you're ok. How scary!!
Etosha's right it's a wake up call for all of us so grateful you posted it.
I'm praying for a dry season here. Those ditches on the dirt (solid mud) roads we took last year were deep enough to lose a truck in. My hands were soaked from sweat! All you could do once you made your turn was go between 7-12 MPH and constantly fight the arse end from swinging up around front for 8 miles of that stuff. Difference being not the speed you had to deal with!! Again, I'm grateful you're ok and saying a prayer for ya to not get taken to the cleaners at every turn to come these next couple of days -
I like it too lol!!!

The bridge motors were used in the 02-03 models, but I have seen a bunch of '00 listed with C15's, which would be a Bridge.
Odds are that the Yellow hunk under the hood is an 'E' CAT. -
I will take a look today at the engine sticker. I thought there were 2 yrs or so that the C15 was just a change made by Cat in moving to a C designation, but before the bridge motors. I've heard a lot of good things about the bridge for power and mpgs. I'm not overly worried about a bridge.
To add to the confusion I've seen trucks built in 03 billed as an 03 with a twin turbo. I've also seen trucks built in 04 billed as an 04 with ONE turbo. The twin set up is clearly the Accert. -

It doesn't look bad, interior needs a good detail. I'm leaving right now to go drive it. The batteries in it were stone dead and they wouldn't jump. Them big CATs take a lot of power to turn over. The wife approved of the color and baring some thing unforseen I'll probably be buying it.
