Mack I'm glad you were both able to walk away! I hit a deer Tuesday morning on my way to school, in the wife's new car. Now I can't give her a hard time about hitting so many(5 so far) she always did it in the beater so no real concerns. Thanks Brickman, I new care had a lot to do with prices etc. and Etosh, I do plan on continuing to peruse the truck paper to get a good hold on whats what. Thanks to all for the input.
I had a bad day!

Maiden voyage with the new ride. 500 CAT with 13 spd. Seems to do 5 mpg loaded running 80 mph against the wind or empty or running 65 mph with no wind.
This load is right at 70,000

Hey brick, for some reason i can't see the pics of your new ride. What did you get into to get (i would think) good MPG driving like that. Also glad your back on the road.

Brickman, glad to see you were able to get what you wanted! Didn't I read another thread where you were thinking of buying or leasing? Pretty sure it was lease/operator. Is that what the old or new truck are/were? If so, is it safe to assume it's working out? Yes, I know what they say about assuming, that's why I ask!
