I ran most of my miles in either ungoverned trucks or 75 mph trucks. When I went to a 62 mph truck last year I found that it is a lot less stressful. I'm not feeling like I need to jam it up with slower trucks, trying to make a pass. Out on the open highway there's no stressing about speeding tickets. The usual decisions vis a vis other trucks is how slow to go in order to help them pass...

    ... AND...

... I have a LOT more time to enjoy the scenery.

Are you saying that when you are running governed out and another driver with a governed truck .05 MPH faster is trying to pass you, you actually cancel cruise and sacrifice a few seconds of your precious time to let him by so you dont help create a jam up behind you with impatient 4 wheelers and
souped up hoods??? I like to drag race with them for about 10 miles. Especially on rolling hills when he's slightly heavier than me, then just when he almost has enough room to merge in front, I am able to close the gap and keep along side...that's the mark of a true professional.
