I grow up in CO and had a Elk herd that crossed around a bend alot durning the last mile home and they seemed to scatter faster with those then a quick tap on the horn. The whistle gets their attention faster than lights and the horn tap gave them motivation to move.
Before those where installed horn tap did nothing but a long horn 1+ seconds and then quick take seemed to work.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Saw another big truck rollover today....
This time it was on I-44 in MO around mm 66... The truck was laying on its side right in the middle of the highway....
lots of other vehicles, police cars, fire fighter, ambulance... don't know how many vehicles were involved or if anybody died.. Highway was shut down which caused HUGE traffic jam...

Stopped in Sweetwater, TX last night. Got up and no wait for a shower at the Love's. Weather is cold and wet. Hello, it's Texas, not supposed to be that way.

Delivered in Ontario, CA yesterday then picked up next load in Carson going to San Antonio. Looking forward to testing out the whistle on I-10 Texas. Lol
FatDaddy, last week you mentioned keeping a 14 foot ladder on the truck with you in case you had to change trailer lights. That got me thinking and thought it was a good idea. Looked at ladders online. Holy cow ! Never knew how expensive ladders are. I figured it would be $40-$60. Goes to go show how much of a handyman I am. Lol
