well I ended up back at the DC outside tupelo after only getting 4hrs sleep last night. it's actually ecru, ms but hardly anyone knows where that is. these folks don't do anything unless it's out in the middle of nowhere. bout 20 sw of tupelo.

#### good day today though. up at 0200 run down to just outside of mobile then deadhead back up here. 660 paid on an actual of 614.....plus the customer unload pay. thank you sir may I have another lol I'll take those every day of the week.

unfortunately those come only a couple of times a month. tomorrow I get a 50 mile beer trip to live unload then back here and the load home. winter storm watch is already out for Friday. sleet in the morning then freezing rain accumulation up to 1/4 inch of ice. I sure hope I get that beer load off and turned towards the house before it changes over. spending the weekend in the middle of nowhere ms just isn't in the plan

 

Picked up a rider early this morn. My bride decided she wanted to go cow hauling. Caught a short nap when we got to West Plains, gonna get a steak in the cafe and a shower then it's off to Cargill in Joslin.

I think KAK told her they were going someplace warm

 

In Portland Maine they have piled up the snow so high out at the end of the airport
if they put anymore there it will violate building height standards for planes taking off
friggen liberals are worried about pollution dumping snow in the harbor
and worried that road salt will raise salinity content

Nap time! Headed for Rantoul Il for a mid morning delivery. Made it into the Ky and gonna chill for a minute. The place I loaded in Ayer Ma on Tuesday was surrounded by snow mountains! Gonna be bad wet when that #### starts to melt. It's a toasty 10 degrees at present. Y'all have a good un! We out.

Chillin here while they unload me &sort....then add bout 42k of ltl fer us....goin bout every #### where....then I will allow Sysco the honor of my presence....&give the lumpers a lesson in how to get 8plts off&signed for an out the door in under 30mins...really pisses em off....then off to a little dairy...up around Sharon..to stuff Everything they got fer us....on this old wore out yard wagon....( didn't really think I'd use my new pretty chickenbox fer this nonsence now didya? Lmao)
Then I'll head fer the barn&shut off my comunication devices....cuz it'll be 1-2pm fer its all dun....then but 300miles back4&I will..have stuff fer EVERY west coast truck....chompin at the bit to leave at o dawn thirty Fri....same thing every week&its always bout suppertime when they're ready to ride but they keep hopin..

and some of r contract guys been doin this for 30 yrs or better...personally I think they do it cuz they don't like their wives.....but whadda I know...
