I don't believe I have a clue what "sundrop" is.
As a Hot Shot driver I take my lunch MOST days. There is a deli and a subway near each other where I could park. I tried the deli that time.
If I ever do it again though, a 5 dollar foot long is PROBABLY what I'll do. I haven't had subway since I got out of the big truck.
I HATE Subway

Was actually going to have a sub at the ol' subway today. Pilot in Paducah, KY, the "sandwich artist" was finishing up with another customer when I walked up. So, I looked at the board trying to figure out what I wanted to get. The girl finished ringing the other guy up and walks up and asks me what I would like wearing the same gloves that she had been wearing for making the other guy's sandwich and handling the money. That was all it took, she was prepared to make my sandwich with those now nasty gloves, so I just said no thanks and walked away. I felt that there was really no point in getting into the whole "you need to change the gloves after handling money thing" since she had probably been doing it all day and contaminated everything already.
NDBADLANDS Thanks this. -
What wolfy writes about (above) is disgusting, I'll tell you though - what do you think goes on in a restaurant's kitchen you CANT SEE? At least you can see what the sandwich maker is doing at subway. As far as the food goes - it's a matter of not overdoing it. I use my FJ/Pilot reward card points to get a "free" veggie sub. I also buy decent deli meat at a grocery store and keep it in my fridge, and use it to dress up the veggie sub. So I'll have 2-3 veggie subs a month. And I've never had "digestive trouble". I used to buy cheese slices at the deli counter, too - until my doctor said I had high cholesterol.

I can't wait until their Sub of the Month is the Turkey again.
That's all I ever get.
Footlong turkey on wheat bread
pepperjack cheese
Lots of spinach
green pepper
onion
light pickles
light jalapenos
black pepper
a dusting of lettuce
light (diet) mayo
chipotle sauce
and please wrap each half separately so that when I open up the package while driving down the road, I don't drop half of it on my dirty nasty floor and waste half a sub.
Once in a while, if the "artist" does a good job, I will tip a dollar.
