I HATE Subway

I remember an episode of The Simpsons where Bart goes: "I'm so hungry I could eat at Arby's." The animators hate Arby's I take it.

I can tolerate Subway, but I don't love them. I prefer to get a sandwich from an actual deli (Schlotzkis, Panera Bread, etc.) What bugs people about Subway is that there is no other sandwich competition. It's either a sit down restaurant, Subway, or greasy fatty food from a fast food place, or whatever was burning under a heat lamp at a convenience store.

 

subway sucks because they don't wash there hands. Dennys just totally suck.

 

The problem is we have arived at the factory prepared food era. All the Meats and sauces that you get at the Arbys-Micky D's-Subway-Mr Sub,Burger King are just prepared by low payed workers. With beef that is injected with ucky stuff.
Probably all from the same factory in Tiawana.
The good old days of a Mom'n Pop restaurant, cooking from scratch are gone.
There was a Truckstop that used to be near where I live. The Happy Landing.
Good food (Great Burgers) and nice atmosphere. Went T#ts up due to bad management-skimming off the top. Big enough to handle 6 trucks fueling at one time.
Now its a Karate school.

 

Eating Subway 2-3 times a week forced my hand to buy a microwave. I haven't ate at a Subway or Arby's since. Occassionally I'll do Wendy's. Even McD's if the fries are hot.

 

Jerrod was a crack head! His weight loss he claimed it was Subway so he could support his habit!

 

Subway will the bill for me once in a while, like when I can grab one ahead of time and throw it in my reefer trailer for later for when I know I am going into an area where I know there is no food available. But yeah, I agree that subway/Arbys/McDonnalds/Burgerking etc all get old.

I prefer COUSINS SUBS. I'll take cousins subs over subway any day of the week. I'm not sure if cousins subs offer better quality meats than the fake pretend cheapest proccessed crap that money can buy that subway uses, but I do know that Cousins subs DO taste far better.

 

I won't stop at a Subway! I try to avoid truckstops that have Subways, I will go hungry before I eat the swill that they serve at Subway, Subway food is HORRIBLE! and that's on a good day!
SUBWAY SUCKS!

 

I'm just tired of all the fast food crap, period........ end of statement.

Wouldn't mind a Quiznos tho if they didn't jack the price up a $1.50 like they do all the other places that go into trk stops.

 

I guess that truck drivers give off the impression that they're rich, drink coffee all day, and snack on hotdogs and sandwiches in between meals! (Soooo not true!)
