    it's my old company. they're not shady, they're actually pretty decent but their rates just have not kept up with fuel this year

    Most? If most of us thought that way all those cheapy cheap loads wouldn't be getting plucked off the board so fast. I think most guys are just buying themselves a job and are only one significant breakdown away from being in deep doodie.

    Off topic, but thinking about looking for a weekend relief job for an owner/op, possibly/probably Fri/Sat/Sun if you know anyone looking to have some time off but still keep the trucking going. I have my expert witness business, but the majority of work is Tue-Thu, and if I have to go out of town for trials or arbitrations, it's Mon-Wed... anyhoo, just bouncing it off the wall.

    Yeah, no they aren't shady... like Al said just seriously lacking in the FSC department. I can honestly say they ALWAYS paid us on time and we never had a discrepancy... we just like to make fun of them lol
