Wow really $1.50-2.00 is a good rate? Glad I skipped that opportunity to pull a reefer! I hope your talking before FSC? If not, you may want to rethink a few things!

WOW really reefer freight is that cheap?

*hugs you till your eyes bulge out* oh that looks pretty. Say. I got this new nail polish "trailer trash silver". I love it!

Ken is a trouble maker, always has been, always will be. :biggrin_2556:

As for cheap freight, yes I work for a company that undercuts prices. I'd like to have my own big honking oversized sleeper truck in a pretty shade of pink with so many lights and chrome on it that it looks like the freaking circus is coming up the road. I'd like to haul exprensive freight like........bees. Or maybe.....cupcakes. But, I don't think it's happening so I haul my produce to WA, then bring empty cardboard boxes back to the Nuns in Phoenix, and then take groceries to starving Wal-Marts for my paycheck. It keeps me in nail polish and allows me to buy matchbox cars for the grandbabies.

    Ken Thanks this.

30-35 cases a week, do the math. I rendered evaluation reports based on a vehicle's repair history file. What are you basing your BS call on, sir?

Doesn't count the 118 I've done in the past 2.5 months.

that's the difference between running 2000+mi loads and the local stuff you do. Not saying I agree but that's the way it is and always has been

No. $1.50-$2.00 is not a really good rate. You missed my point. All I was saying was if they needed to haul cheap why not a $1.50... still cheap but better than $1.00 or less. See when I call and the broker quotes me $1.50 I feel I may have a chance, when they quote $1/mi I just hang up because my rate is SO far out of their league it's pointless to even start a negotiation...
