Let me try to answer this with an analogy. Let’s say he had some really bad lunch. We’ll use Chipotle since they seem to be in the news all the time for this very thing.

After lunch, his stomach starts churning more than his grandma’s butter churn and he can’t make it fast enough so he soiled his under trousers.

Now, whilst he’s busy scrubbin’ up and worshin’ out his unmentionable covers, he gets that feeling again and, again, experiences explosive diarrhea and craps all over himself again.

Wash, rinse and repeat three or four more times.

It’s my understanding that you’re of the mindset that after ruining a couple of pairs of, *blush*, underpants (giggle) that it can no longer be considered an accident.

At this point, there should have been careful thought given to at least three other options.

    1. Forego the further replacement of the under trousers until he is convinced his innards are completely empty.

    2. Take a preventative measure such as the pink drink and wait a few before exchanging brown under trousers for white ones.

    3. Remain seated on the porcelain until he’s sure all is well, or the night cleaning lady runs him off.

I’m no longer sure where I was going with all this, but I have convinced myself, if no one else, that the OP should remain on the porcelain in lieu of getting back into the truck.

One thing that my trainer in CDL school said to me and has been burned into my brain ever since and that was "always remember, you're not driving a truck, you're driving a trailer powered by a truck".

these are incidents, not accidents. difference is the severity. you tell any employer you had 4 accidents and they'll laugh you out the door.

nearly everyone has had a few incidents where they bumped a stationary object, non-reportable or not.

Let's see...4 accidents in 7 months for you, 0 in 18 years for me...I think I'd hire you though. I gotta go with my gut instinct here.

I overheard the company is somehow happy to see you have such incidents, they add them into your record, then they can keep you longer because you are difficult to find another job. but for me, I do think all of them are preventable if I was more carefully. these are heavy price which I have already paid.
