When or if you join OOIDA tell them you want the landline magazine,it's full of very useful info including all the changes in rules at federal and state levels.

also tell them face to face not on the phone or on the qual comm that if they try to dac you for unrelated events that you will report them to the fmcsa and will dispute the dac. fmcsa will contact them and request the qual com messages and repair records of your truck.

If you already have another job lined up and are pre hired why not just get it over with. Like Condo said, you have already given notice, it might be short notice but it's notice just the same. My thinking is by giving (another) notice of two weeks that it wont go well for you.

Some here say this could affect your chances getting hired with another company but ive never had that problem and the 10 yrs driveing ive never given a 2 weeks notice.Companies don't appreciate drivers.Where's the 2 weeks notice when companies have this evil plan firing drivers.Where's the notice when companies close its doors and tell drivers to take the trk to their nearest terminal and you find your own way home. You have every good reason to quit.Who wants to drive an unsafe trk that the company refusing to fix as well as the trailer.Companies knows about other companies and the high turnover rate. Most the drivers don't give any kind of notice they're quittingI would'nt worry about it.You won't have any trouble finding another company to drive for.
