Well I for one wouldn't go to just anybody at the company, I would ask to have a sit down with the big man upstairs and explain what's going on. Be honest and if you get it cleared up with Florida then i'm sure you would have a good chance of being able to stay.

I would NOT disclose this to the company just yet. Find out some details, call the agency holding the warrant. Get as much information as you can. If necessary, then get a lawyer. No need ruining your career with your company if it is something that can easily be dismissed. Trust your company like you would a cheating ex-wife, not at all! I have info on my DAC that was reported to them, by who, the company. I would not waste much time, but definately try to get this taken care of without involving your company.
If, by some chance you do get convicted of a felony, life is not over. I know of owner/operators that have decided to run under their own authority to side-step this problem. People make mistakes, it is hard to get others to look past it. Good luck to you sir! -

now samstone ,i live in south fla,i had a 2 warrents that were 20 yrs old in arizona where im from, like i seen earlyer on this thread ,pay the warrents cheaper than the lawyer, then call the state of fla,you already know what you were acused of,and get a grip on it!!!! DO NOT TELL YOUR CARRIER!!!! if you take care of this under the radar(hint hint)and make it go away theres no issuses, but pay the warrents, you can do this ovewr the phone, i did and they will mail you a reciept and give you a comfrmation number over the phone,,and at that point you took the bullet out of the gun for the carrier to let you go,and you showed your handleing your buissness, with out them getting involed,,,your choice on how you want to handle it ,but the cheaper way out is the phone and a bank card and hopefully no lawyers

Hey bear is right on. I'm a retired lawman and I can tell you that if Fla won't give ya a free ride back from that state, doesn't mean they won"t from a closer state. just depends on what states or certian milage they put on the ncic entry. but then like bear advised, Johnny law from Fla could just happen to be in the state your stopped in next giving someone else a ride and let you tag along too.....I just wouldn't gamble on the outcome of the next stop and try to get it taken care of ASAP, too much at stake.
