Well the amount of the warrant isnt enough to be extradited or Mo poe would have detained you. It shouldnt hurt your career but get it straightened out asap. Courts will put in NCIC how far they are willing to extradite you . Our County D.A usually only extradites from surrounding states, unless amount is over $ 15,000.00 and a no bond warrant. As a Reserve Deputy Sheriff ( 13 years ) we will pick up intrastate. The way the budget is now we rarely travel out of state unless it is a big amount in which we know we can get paid most of the cost. Civil warrants usually do not have a statue of limitations. Civil if it was from a business deal that you owe an amount on. Was it a criminal or civil issue?? It does matter...............................

mr rock . i have 20 yrs of building roads and bridges that you drive on,working at night requires that law inforcement be with in the lane closers if the primary contractor wishes to pay for them,at rates from $28.00 hr to $60.00 and ,depending on there sinyority, thus being a florida highway partol, dep, atf, all wiyh in district 4,5,6,7 county police,so when your in that construction zone and speeding and the fines double, think about it cause when your lic is from another state, they run a ncic check, which for those that dont know what that is thats an nation wide check on a lic wheather its a cdl or regular operators lic,so if your wanted for anything in another state it willshow the officer on his computer,,,,have seen it done and watched a few get locked up trying to play stupid,,,thus at the time i was the superentendant for night shift, yes they worked for me,i signed their time sheets,so the would get there overtime pay

this is for the clue less!!!,before there was a cdl lic and computers where comeing into play,(we)truck drivers had what was called a chauffers lic, then our faithfull goverment for revenue and to stop the drivers that had 3-4 lic from differnt states came up with the cdl a national lic that ran thru the computer( are you catching this sonny) the all the drivers that had chauffers lic were grandfathered into the cdl lic as they phased out the chauffers lic as each state got there computers systems in order,,so this being said after you are issued your cdl lic and have cleared the ncic check then you go apply for a jod driveing and they run another check on you again, and there exscuse is for insuranse reasons,,,so who should do the hushing:biggrin_25524: #### i hate it when that happens

Actually dino your kind of incorrect. When Law Enforcement run your CDL they have to run it thru the issuing state. It's not a Federal system. A warrant will only show up if entered into NCIC, even then it has details entered if the Agency is willing to extradite and from where and if it is a no bond warrant etc. POPO can not run your license thru a federal system.

    x#1 and dino6960 Thank this.

NCIC is not a Nation wide check on a license. National Crime Information Center to run individuals not licenses. Non Felony warrants usually are not entered into NCIC. Our County even has low amount felony warrants that are not entered into NCIC. Also used to enter stolen property such as cars,t.v's,chain saws etc. Also enter missing people. NCIC will not give you a driving record. Only your State can do that...:biggrin_25525:
