The basic NCIC check does not give the full background on people. Our Agency runs a triple I for a detailed criminal history on individuals. We have to sign and date/time stamp it as well according to FBI regs. Its this way to protect ,yes even criminals of their right to privacy. Its against the law for the popo to just run a background etc on people just for the hell of it. On a routine traffic stop it usually does not get this deep into a investigation unless an arrest is made etc. Drivers wont get a thorough background check at a scale house or while getting a speeding ticket.....

 

Also NO the U.S Marshal will not come to a scale house if you call them lol I've heard so many drivers say that they have done that haha I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas and be safe...

uhm, companies are not supposed to be able to find warrants, and most of them do not. Werner does, for example

I had a warrant out for a while, i was never informed of it. it was months though, not years. Got pulled over in the state i live in, got a free ride. It was a BS assault+battery charge. The idiot who lied to the popo to get it wouldnt come to court as he moved to nevada and couldnt afford it. I had a public defender and got it dropped based on that, but i wouldve got the same results without a public defender in my case..heheh.

 

If you get an inspection by dieselbear, you will. Apparently some guy at the MO scales too. And I got pulled into the Perry POE in Utah and the girl got out a ruler to check my logs, if she did that, do you think she took the easy way out of ANYTHING in that inspection?!

 

i beleive from the way i understood it,it has to be called in and the office dos the check and its radioed back,but then again iv been wrong ,it seems in this issue but iv seen stranger things,like a grown man telling me he has a doctors appiontment ,and its for a gynocoligeist??????yes a grown man,with a womens doctor,,,roflmao unless somethings changed he was just looking for a way to get out of work,,,,and yes i called the doctors office and the idiot took his sisters apiontment cards and dint know what kind of doctor she was,,,needless to say he was unemployed the next morning ,and me trying to keep a straight face,and my boss egging things on,,,it was a good laugh but a true story

 

When a Agency checks your License status they also run you thru NCIC. They do not do a full background check on routine checks..... It is regulated by the F.B.I and is checked. A routine stop or D.O.T check is not a reason for a full background check. Checking your log book is not a Criminal Background check...... A proper and routine check is checking wants and warrants on individuals as well as checking drivers license status. And that is it. If you show suspended,expired or have a warrant then it gets further NOT FROM A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP

 

now I am curious isn't a full background check done for a hazmat license that costs 90 bucks every time you renew your license, what about when they do the background check for TSA certification, of or the check for the fast card and all the other crap the government requires, and if not why not, you would think that with all the time and money spent on this crap they would at least be able to tell if someone has a warrant on them!!

 

Yes the TSA does a background on you, to be honest I do not know what they do if you have a warrant. They may notify you,they may not. I do know you wont be allowed a hazmat endorsement if you fail the background. I know for a fact that every day people apply for jobs that have warrants that they do not know about. Our dispatch center gets HITS thru NCIC when someone that we have a warrant on does a background for a job such as a teacher,nurse or State or Federal job. All our Agency gets is a notice of where the individual applied. We have to contact the F.B.I ( NCIC ) office even then its a pain in the a@% lol
