I do not completely agree I personally would pick the easiest spot I could find so I’m not putting my truck at risk while I’m backing. If my rig is between those lines you darn well better not bump my truck. If your to lazy to get out and look that’s not my fault, if you think the spots to hard then find another one. No sense in scraping up someone’s 400k rig for no reason.

I’m sure you always put in alongside someone else everynight for practice.

Tell the truth. You are one of the only ones to ever run into Swift.

I'd always park next to one of them so the next driver had some wiggle room. Less chance of me getting hit and way easier for them.

    WesternPlains and TravR1 Thank this.

Noobs like me appreciate that. If you see a white freightliner shaped like a banana inside a spot you know it’s me.

What about the guy parked 2 spots to the right of you? What did you do for him? Now he’s got the crosshairs on him, It’s a lose lose. This day and age it’s Everyman man for themselves out there from what I see. I don’t want to have to fill out an accident report during my precious break.

I like to be the 3rd truck parked along side the CAT scale. That way In the morning when the other 2 trucks are gone, I’m still sitting there in the middle of the driveway. :)

I was sitting there in the drivers seat.
I honked the horn right before he hit. You can see he hit the brakes quick.
He was the fourth newbie to try that spot. Third I tried to spot. He got mad and waved me off. So I didn’t try to spot this one.
Then the guy on the other side told him: Don’t worry. The more trucks you hit. The better you’ll get.
Then a guy parked on my right side. It was two spots open. I told him he was smarter than the last four guys who tried to park on my left. He looked at me odd and asked why. I said; You picked the easy spot. He rolled over laughing.
