    Give me a break....."maybe you should have parked at another truck stop".
    To the OP, it is evidently your fault that Swift hit you because you parked in his way.
    I take your point about reducing the risk by being sure you are centered and square in a spot, avoiding the end of a row and such, but let's not turn Swift (in this case) into the victim.

    Butt hurt as usuall over a switf comment, lol.
    Guess what though back in 92 I pulled out from in between two trucks and turned to sharp with a 53 and did almost that exact same damage to the truck on my right with the rear of my trlr. Yes my tandem were pretty far forward.
    I think you need to go back to detective school.

    Example: Bloomsbury, NJ I-78 exit 7. Park at the Pilot instead of the TA, you deserve to get hit. And there's lots of other similar dual-option examples where one option is exceptionally risky.

    ROTFLMAO!!! :withstupid::yes2557::laughing-guffaw:
    No I’m not gonna post a picture of the info he gave me.
    He was a really good guy. Good reactions in driving too. He stopped quick.
    There is an excellent chance that Swift will never find out. My company will never call. We just had to cover the bases legally.
    And instead of my being sick and mad. It was so little. I can sit here having fun in humor that I’m one of the cool, real truckers, now. :walk:
    And yes it was the dot bumper that scratched the wheel.

    Oxbow, driverdriver and Blackshack46 Thank this.

    It does disturb me that this seemed to be a spiritual setup.
    He was the fourth inexperienced guy to try that space. I didn’t offer to spot because; I offered the third guy and he got mad at me.
    I kept expecting this guy to pull forward and to the right. Would have perfectly straightened his backing. But he tried for a little more on his blind side.

    Also when I watch experienced guys cutting clearance close. They get out and check. Easily 5 times checking just to make sure. That is one thing us newbies need to get in our heads. Get out and check. Leave no room for error. If you have any doubt whatsoever. There’s a reason. Get out and check.

    And sometimes a quick look outside gives you that breath of fresh air you needed to slide it in.
