You are correct! The way I read it is his main job is a CDL and the weekend is not. I dont see why ppl are arguing that at all. Why the hell would he post on a truckers site if it was an uber job or pizza delivery haha.

I'm tracking that much. But Captain is strong tonight and I just ran out of coke. So I'm becoming a ball buster.

That might be assuming too much. There's a lot of people that come here that are complete strangers to different aspects of the driving profession. You could very well be correct but I would like to see the OP make the situation clear before venturing any further with advice. IMO.

Why do people post about who does this drug test or that one, on a trucking forum mind you.

Why are we asked the same question 10 times a day by 3 different people, looking at the same company?

It's trucking, that's why. We don't do too well with making sense.

Because some folks just don't know. Not a slam. He is here asking, so he isn't sure probably.

If either job requires a cdl then both must be logged. If neither job requires a cdl then you are exempt

If you have a bad wreck or incident...you will most likey have your CDL banned for life....on another note do you really need to work 7 days a week every week?

I have read the regulations, but I not going to look it up.
They state that you have to log any work time, CDL related or not, as on-duty time.

It is expected (and required) that any off-duty time is spent relaxing and resting - not working a second job.
That is reasonable, in my opinion, considering how many driver caused accidents are due to fatigue.

He does end his OP mentioning he hasn't done a restart, why even mention that if it is a job where HOS apply?

Seemsna very logical assumption the first driving job is CDL
