The word "barefoot" is being misused on this forum. On this issue there can be no debate. An export pushing 20 times the legal output limit is not "barefoot". I refuse to be deceived

The only deception is the red herring.
Until you can achieve what Tom did, you are not in a position to purchase an amplifier because you are throwing your money down the toilet.
Giving people false hope in wasting their money isn't doing anyone a public service. The whole idea is to squeeze the maximum performance or miles using the least amount of power.
Once that has been achieved then someone is ready to move on to the next step if they need more distance or performance but only at that point are they ready to take the plunge. Otherwise they are wasting their money. An amplifier cannot compensate for a poor antenna system or a poorly tuned radio.

Saying that an Anytone AT-6666 is barefoot is deception.

I try to explain my point, but for some reason it always goes over your head. Rabbi hasnt been around for awhile and when he finally post, it's another dumb romper room video. No one will notice a small amount of splatter on 11 meters, even if there was some. Who cares???? Its just cb radio..

Edit: Oh wait, you don't use a real cb radio.

The point is power is being wasted.
A small amount of splatter becomes a huge amount when you feed it into an amplifier. Encouraging someone to purchase an amplifier and connect a splatterbox radio to the amp is not helping that person achieve anything useful. I'm surprised the ham guys don't chime in. Some of us take pride in not bleeding over onto adjacent channels and focusing all of our power onto a single frequency for maximum efficiency and greater range without resorting to amplifiers and without inconveniencing others. I recognize most people have pretty low standards.

Changing the subject is a red herring.
    What's your point?
4 watts vs 20 watts is 5 times the power.
Are you using common core math to come up with your 20 times calculation?

Some Strykers do almost 80. At least you acknowledge that your "barefoot" claims are hogwash

Do you like Cake? I like Cake.
If you grab a cake with both hands and smash it into your face how much cake actually goes into your mouth? Most of it goes on your face.

Is that where you want it to go? If you see someone eating a cake a bite at a time is it better if you smash a whole cake in your face?

A lot of people see my face so I wouldn't want cake on it. Very few if any people use channel 18 or 20, so if I get cake on those channels who cares?

Show me any model Stryker that produces 80 watts carrier power.
It doesn't exist in my world.
