I like cake....Pancake,and fish cake and choclate forest cake....I even remember patty cake....

 

Nobody wants to remember patty cake. But it will always be there.

 

So we are still on the my dad can beat up your dad type of reply.....

Unless your super duper top of the line im the top radio man with the biggest watt # radio can do dishes,walk the dog(a real dog)do laundry then your radio works basically just like everyone elses..

Throwin a bit of shade doesnt change the point jjst makes you look the way you accuse...

 

Latest rumor has it that patty was naughty..

I'm going to address the two points this thread seems to have wandered off to.........

BAREFOOT RADIO
I, and many others, consider a "barefoot" radio as not having an add-on amplifier. Whatever power output it has comes from the radio board itself. No external or stuffed in the bottom cover of the radio add-on amp.

HARD DRIVE'S RADIOS
Are they good? YUP!
Are they worth the money? I think so!
Is it worth the vetting process(which I get)? Maybe.
Are they worth the wait? AHHHHH.............there's the rub!
A lot can change in a person's life in the rumored (up to a year) wait time for a radio from Mark. Many may question tying up a substantial amount of money ( I imagine one has to pay up front to order one) for that length of time waiting for the radio to be built.
Would I like to have one? YUP! But that ship has sailed.............I didn't pass muster because I shut my phone off when I go to bed.

Just my opinions on the above matters and we know what opinions are worth!

Oh, just one more.....I find it hard to believe he hasn't been running a little help (Ameritron?) lately on AM19. Hitting my receive with an S 7-9 and clean as a whistle? Not with one of his barefoot Strykers! I'm a whole bunch more than 74 miles away! It does sound perfect!
