I said that because I got that from a guy that claimed to have a whole wall full of “ham radios”. It’s happens a few times. “Oh you play with radios too? What’s your call sign?” Response: Prairie Dog.

I only have a couple of 2 meter radios.
-
I’ll give you this…KD0A##. It’s a 2x3 issued in 2007 in ND
-
If it was issued in 07, it's expired
-
Ok I misspoke. It was renewed in 17
-
Only 7 active licenses that start with that in that area.
-
Probably.

It happens, not often but it does happen.
Just like my light bulb antenna, I made a contact just recently to an operator in Indonesia, 4 watts voice.
Well OK, but let's be clear, the consumer site is for consumer complaints, not for spectrum issues.
I take it you have a tech ticket, I have an extra, been doing this for a long long time.
I am old-fashioned, I had to get rid of my 2x3 and tried to get a 1x2 but ended up with a 1x3 which I am happy with. It has a pretty interesting history, only three people had it, one was a politician who gave it up when he moved, the second guy got his ticket in 1940 and I met him in 2008 when I bought most of his station from him, he worked as a station agent for the OSS and later worked in East Berlin as a station monitor. When I heard that he went SK, I applied for his call, which I ended up with. I ran into his daughter in 2018 and she gave me all of his radio-related material, including all of his awards and original license.Crude Truckin' Thanks this. -
